The live CDs are great. Great recording, nice mix, excellent performance. The CDs alone make this a great purchase.

However, I don't care at all for the DVD. I don't know when bands, producers, etc, are going to learn what people want in a concert DVD. All they have to do is read some of the reviews of other live DVDs posted here on Amazon to understand what folks like, and what they don't like in a live concert DVD. In my opinion, this DVD is very poorly produced. Why would anyone think that it's a good idea to insert interviews and other non-concert footage between songs? Even worse, they insert interview footage right in the middle of some songs! Unbelievable! They even mixed in rehearsal footage with the actual concert footage on some songs, cutting back and forth between the rehearsal footage and the concert footage. This sort of editing really ruins the viewing experience. The goal of a concert film should be to bring the concert experience home as if you were there. Fast, fancy editing, with other stuff thrown in between songs and even on top of the songs is not what most people want in a concert film. Would it be a good idea to throw up interview footage on the big screen behind the band during a concert for a live audience to have to watch between songs? Of course not. So why would you do this on a live DVD? All of the interviews, etc, should have been included as bonus material, not inserted throughout the concert.

Oh, and the packaging stinks too. The set comes in a cardboard sleeve and it's very difficult to remove the CDs from the packaging without scratching them.

Okay, enough of my rant regarding the DVD and the packaging. I love the Zac Brown Band, and even though I think that the production on the DVD is horrible, the live CDs alone make this a must have set if you're a Zac Brown Band fan.

Zac Brown Band sound amazing in the live CD/DVD set. I had the pleasure to see them play in Lincoln Nebraska and they cannot be described in any other way but amazing. My fiance loves the song "Colder Weather" and I myself enjoy every song on both the CD's and DVD.

This was exactly what I was looking for after their concert. I would watch them every single day if I could afford it. This is an excellent addition to any music collection and will be able to be enjoyed day after day.

Listen to Colder Weather, The Night They Drove Ole Dixie Down, and of course all of the ZBB greats. Particularly like the version of Toes.

This CD was great! The package was alittle different but the CD wonderful. My husband is stationed in Iraq and the Zac Brown Band played a concert there on the USO tour and he loved it. So a special salute to Zac and the guys for being there for our guys and gals in uniform. USA

I am not normally prone to hypebole, but this might be the single best value in the history of music. The quality of the production, combined with the quality of the music, puts you right in the middle of an inspired 24 song set by Zac Brown Band and their friends. If you already have "The Foundation," buy this and listen to how the songs take on a new, more dynamic force played live. If you're new to ZBB, I envy the eye opening experience in front of you. WITHOUT the included DVD, $17 is a ridiculous value for a double live CD with absolutely no weak moments. I an not possibly recommend this CD more enthusiastically to lovers of music of any genre. Buy. Listen. You will be glad you did.

i was first introduced to ZBB from the Grammys & instantly liked Zac's voice & the band. i was then lucky enough to be able to check them out live at the Gibson here in L A. i was totally converted.

the 2 disc cd live set is simply fantastic. great singing, playing & energy. although they are classified as country, they go beyond that with a lot of southern rock influence. they are like the "Grateful Dead" of country.

unlike a previous reviewer, i didn't mind the live concert footage intercut with short comments from Zac & the band. the cuts are short enough not to interfere with the show & it adds an extra dimension to the viewing instead of the regular all concert & then interview dvds. it's like watching the dvd with Zac, which for me holds my interest longer than just a straight concert dvd or straight interview. my only complaint is that the dvd has 5 less ZBB songs than the cds.

anyway, a great band & great box set.

I just ordered this CD/DVD combo on the 19th and got it on the 21st. Gotta love that.

I'm just now playing the CDs, but I've damned near worn out the DVD. One review criticized the DVD because of interviews and rehearsals interspersed throughout the concert. That had me a bit concerned, but after watching and/or listening to it, I found that doesn't really bother me (OK, the cut to rehearsal during the Kid Rock segment during "Can't You See" was a mistake).

It looks like this group really enjoys putting on a show, and they really rock! If you like the Zac Brown Band, I think you're going to really enjoy this set.

If you like the Zac Brown Band, and some of the acts on this set, I might suggest you go to [...]. Find out how you can show your support for our troops as well as how you can get some more great music.

Love listening to Zac Brown and very happy I bought "Pass the Jar". It's a CD both my husband and I can enjoy together. Even though we already have "The Foundation" CD, we don't mind the duplicate songs. Hearing them live is great too. The DVD is a wonderful little addition that we sometimes play while cooking dinner.

When I read the reviews and sampled the songs on Amazon before I bought this CD I thought it was another benefit show where they wheeled out some celebs and pretended to play music- in other words just fund raising. This couldn't be further from the truth! Not only are the individual members of the Zac Brown Band incredibly talented but their friends and fellow musicians who join them are phenomenal as well. I listened to the CDs a number of times before watching the DVD. It is all good! If you are remotely a Zac Brown Band fan you absolutely need to get this. If you aren't a fan yet, you need to get this!
BTW Joey from Joey and Rory is smoking hot and she can sing!

My husband and I already loved the Zac Brown Band, but after getting this, and particularly watching the DVD that came with it, we joined their fan club, searched for concert dates, and shared the DVD with friends not familiar with them. We are definitely looking for more from them. These people are some of the most talented folks we've seen in our near 60 years. Made us get up and dance!

Love Zac Brown Band as does everyone else. I believe they could hum a song and it would hit #1. This purchase involved so much more than any other artist has presented to my knowledge. They will be around a long time. Providing entertainment to the troops is another big plus for them.
