Pass the 6: A Training Guide for the FINRA Series 6 Exam

I used the book for my series 6 exams about a month ago, and it was great. I had a 89 thanks to the book

The book is written with humor which make it easier and more interesting.
Just reading the book and do the 2 tests in the end will not be enough for most people because you need to memorize a lot of facts.

This site is dry but state the facts in top to bottom way which was easier for me. The site also has FREE tests.

English is a second language for me which made it harder...this is what I did
1. Read the book 2. Read the site 3. summarize the site
4. Did the test from the book and reviewed 5. Did the test from the site and reviewed. I realized I can finish the test about 20-30 before the time ends
6. Did all the questions from the site without time limit
7. Did the second test from the book.

I started at 50 but end up at 80 on the above tests. I read and heard the real test would be easier...no way in my case

The real test: it was harder than any test I took before. There were a lot more complicated questions (long BS instead of easy one liners), more questions about annuities and...I had no time. In the middle I had 50 questions and 50 minutes left. This means no time since you have about 1.5 minutes per questions....do you feel the pressure. Then I see 10 more questions and only 5 minutes left...it seems like they give you a break at the end. I finished all the questions and had 1 minute left...do you think I went back to check? Are you crazy? what can I do in 1 minute. I finished and..the system said "wait 10 sec for your results"....it was a very long 10 sec...I PASSES with 81.

Pass the series 6 study book is very well written and easy to follow. Robert Walker uses a combination of common speak and humor to teach you the technical information. I would highly recommend this book to anyone preparing for the series six.
