I bought the 2009 Passporter before my last trip to Walt Disney World and knew I was going to buy the 2011 for my upcoming trip. I was very pleased with the 2009 version, however there were some changes made to the 2011 version that I was not so happy about. The main one is that the paper used in the book is different, making the pages slippery which causes the book to be lopsided sometimes due to it's weight. However, it does come with an elastic which wraps around the entire book, keeping it all together. I would recommend the binder version, which is slightly more expensive, but probably a neater product and expandable too. Other than that, content is great and I love the journal pockets in the back where you can record your daily outings. The only recommendation I would make there is that they increase it to 14 days (right now there's only 10 days of journaling), as a lot of people like to take 2 weeks vacation. Maybe they could remove the Disney Dreaming section which contains way too many pages of other people's pictures of their Walt Disney Vacation. While it's nice to see pictures of what WDW has to offer, I think this material could be provided on their website for people who are interested, to reduce the size of the book. Finally, it's worth noting that the planning tips, maps and descriptions of all of the attractions and dining establishments are very valuable. Overall, an excellent planning book that is also a wonderful keepsake.

This book offers information on everything in WDW the planning tips, maps and descriptions of all of the attractions, dining establishments and pockets in the back to store your receipts and write notes. The only thing I do not like is they switched to glossey pages which is hard to write in due to smearing and I can no longer write in pencil :( that is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Other then that it is a great book to help you with planning your disney vacation!

I've bought many versions of Passporter's Walt Disney World (2006,2008,2009 and the 2011) and as always it is the best book out there for planning a trip to The World. Love the fold out maps of the parks and the descriptions of the rides. Also love the restaurant descriptions. This book has everything you need to know about planning a trip to The World. If you can't find the info you are looking for then they have plenty of websites listed for you to check out even one of their own with a very helpful community board that you can join for free. The Passporter website even goes as far as to offer book updates for things that didn't make it into the book due to the info not being available at publishing time. There is one change that they have made since I last purchased the Passporter WDW in 2009 that I do NOT like and that is that the pages are now glossy. In previous editions I was able to use a pencil to write myself notes and erase them if needed. I was also able to use a hi-liter to mark information that I found important but it is harder to do that now. Pencil does not show up and the hi-liter smears because it's not drying fast enough. Over all I would recommend this product to everyone. As a matter of fact, I have purchased this very product for friends and family with future plans to visit Walt Disney World.
