Large Format Camera Captures the Mystery of Sacred Places,
This review is from: Passage to Angkor (Hardcover)
Kenro Izu makes his living as a commercial photographer in NYC. For relaxation and his own well being twice a year he travels to far away places with his heavy, custom-made 14 X20 inch view camera. He limits himself to two sheets of film per day and often will spend days composing a single photograph. He contact prints his pictures as platinum prints with variations. He was so touched with what he discovered in Cambodia that he helped set up a hospital for children in the area where there was none. (See my customer pictures of Kenro Izu speaking at Boston University that are posted on this book listing site).
