4.0 out of 5 stars passage making for dummies..., April 10, 2007

This review is from: Passage Making: The National Standard for Quality Sailing Instruction (The Certification Series) (U.S. Sailing Certification) (Paperback)
What I really like about the USSA certification series is how much information they pack into a very readable, high retention format (like a good Dummies book). Well edited text, a lot of very informative graphics and a good layout with just the right amount of white/gray space makes then very easy to scan and digest.

While they are obviously intended to be used in conjunction with face to face training, they do provide a great high level perspective for the armchair sailer, and a good refresher for those of us who are finding their way back to the water and the wind.
