5.0 out of 5 stars the best french singer, November 7, 1999
This review is from: En Passant New 1997 (Audio CD)
What a wonderful album! Goldman is the best french singer. What does make him so famous? His talent, a GREAT musician, his simplicity. We never see him on TV. He composes an album and in just one week he sells TWO millions of albums in a country made of just 60 millions of people. Also one of the best in the world.

5.0 out of 5 stars How Could Anyone Not Like This?, February 6, 2000
This review is from: En Passant New 1997 (Audio CD)
Jean-Jacques Goldman is my hero. I have heard in the past that he has been influenced by Eddie Cochron and Aretha Franklin, and that influence here is obvious. I am a huge En Passant fan, but I am also a fan of his live stuff. I know all the guys in French class will agreee. Jean-Jacques Goldman rocks.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Greatest French CD ever, February 1, 2000
This review is from: En Passant New 1997 (Audio CD)
Jean-Jacques Goldman has done it again! Already regarded as the greatest French artist of his time, Goldman does not disappoint with En Passant. This is probably the best CD I have ever listened to. A definite must-buy!
