About the Author

Glenn has excelled in every position he has held in the health care and health insurance industries. From receiving 7 promotions within 4 years during his time working at the prestigious George Washington University Medical Center and Health Plan, to being a Million Dollar Club Award winner 5 years in a row as a top-notch insurance broker, he has spent almost 2 decades helping thousands of families navigate the healthcare system, and thousands of employees and small businesses pay as little as possible for health insurance while getting the best medical care in return. Glenn formed Taylor, Levi, and Associates LLC, an independent brokerage firm, in 2009 specifically to bring the benefits of Obamacare to customers. He knew Obamacare would change the entire healthcare industry and, by winning the knowledge race against his competitors, he would be able to care for his family better than ever, and give a leg up if his children wanted to own businesses someday. The American Dream :o) It is this unique experience working on all sides of the healthcare delivery system, and starting the only business in the country based exclusively on delivering Obamacare promises, that gives him a perspective on our health insurance crisis that is sorely needed today. Glenn learned everything there was to know about Obamacare, realized how bad the law is for our health and our wallets, and did what any combat veteran, and many of you, would have done in the same situation: he fought back. He spent thousands of hours researching a better solution, packaging it, and promoting it so YOU would have real choices this election season. The results of his efforts was an honest-to-goodess healthcare solution, which you will read in Passing Obamacare. You will be amazed at how easy it is to fix the problem, and also get to poke fun at politicians from George Bush to Sarah Palin and Barack Obama..and many more! They are pretty easy targets for a good joke..or 10! :o) In addition to his professional life, he has a lovely wife, 2 children (Taylor and Levi...hence the business name), and 2 step-children. The family resides in Maryland.

Don't let the title fool you. This book is not about the history of Passing Obamacare but of getting past Obamacare into a health care system that will work for us without taking all of our hard earned money.

Glenn takes a critical look into the eyes of the beast, Obamacare, and comes to the conclusion that it will not do anything that was promised of it. It will eat 17% of our income and continue to drive up costs at an alarming rate.

The solution is to reintroduce market forces to the health insurance industry. This is no small task and goes directly against the trend of recent years, making our health insurance do everything for us, no matter how small. No other insurance that you purchase will be used by you in this way.

This is not a book about what would a Democrat or Republican do to fix healthcare, not even a Libertarian. It is a logical explanation of how you can start putting yourself back in charge of healthcare because no one cares more about your family than you do. Obamacare stands directly in the way of sensible healthcare reform.

Glenn has been interviewed on Reason.TV if you are interested in seeing and hearing a short interview with the author.

"Passing Obamacare"is a MUST READ for anyone really interested in the truth behind the current economic and healthcare disaster of our country. G. Troy Morton, the author, has written a book to inform us in a humorous & easy read level of understanding, plus, he's right on with his analysis. Glenn has the data source to back up his research. I've given away my 3rd copy and will be purchasing more from Amazon to give away as gifts.Passing Obamacare

'Passing Obamacare' gives an insurance broker's view of a better way to fix health care in America. As a middle man between the insurance companies who sell insurance and the consumer who buys insurance, he has many real-world ideas on what would work better while costing less. Though initially an Obama supporter, he shows a better way than what Congress passed and President Obama signed into law. Although the book needs some minor editing for clarity, it is well-written and easy to understand. IMHO the book would be improved were the author to leave out some of the political commentary - he began with full (dare I say even blind) support of Mr Obama (the candidate) while despising President Bush, and has ended quite disappointed with President Obama, and maybe Bush wasn't quite so bad after all. This book gives what is surely a good alternative amongst the many that are 'out there'.

the writing is atrocious.

makes a typical high school essay look like a brilliant new hemingway.
i had to quit after one chapter.

if there is some real content,
it needs to be rewritten and CONDENSED.

i applaud the author's intent.
but it falls short of achieving anything useful.
