Born, raised, and educated in the Los Angeles area, Evans discovered at an early age that he wanted to be a syndicated cartoonist. He worked as a high school art teacher as well as a graphic artist and a promotion manager for a television station while pursuing his dream of writing a comic strip. I really loved this book, I usually hate reading, but once I started reading this book, I just couldn't put it down. I really can compare myself to Luann because Evans makes her so realistic!

I like the comic strip Luann. I just wish the comics in the collection books were printed in chronological order.

I really enjoyed the storylines in each strip as well as the fun drawings Evans put in alongside the strips. I am on my way to ordering another Luann book.
