This unpretentious book is packed with 107 large beautifully presented paintings by a wide variety of artists. From Ruben's washing of the disciples feet, Caravaggio's kissed betrayal, Rembrandt's trial, Carracci's unbearable flaellation, (Duccio, El Greco, Tiepolo, Bosch, Michelangelo, etc.) to Gruenewald's metaphysical resurrection.
Each painting with an informative editorial notation.
