This book reminded me of the 60's and 70's and wonmen's struglles in the world. It also opened a window how some things ahve changed for women. But overall I enjoyed the relationships and the story

A Kid's Review
Reading this book, a lot of important messages came across. It demonstrates the stuggles that women went through and go through today in the really world. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy romance books with happy endings. This was truly one of my favorite books. It tells of hardships, as well as joyvial momements. A great book indeed, five stars!

Sorry, but this is not a clear representation of women in the 60's.
This man lies to her, practically rapes her, ignores, her and terrorizes her and this is LOVE???? This was pandering to a dumbed down audience. I couldn't even finish the book. Who cares who the pickpocket was--it had almost nothing to do with the story. Too bad I can't get my money back.
Barbara, I am so glad your newer books are so much better!

BOTH WERE LOOKING FOR THE PERFECT PERSON - WHAT THEY FOUND WAS EACH OTHER

A Boston radio talk-show host highly critical of the city's police department, Monica Grant is a strong woman, willful, and independent. She wants an equally strong man, one she won't intimidate. Someone like the heroes in the romance novels she is addicted to...someone like Michael Shaw.

Michael, a cop with a touch of the poet mixed in, is looking for someone special as well - an old-fashioned, soft, and feminine woman. And for some reason he thinks Monica could be that woman. By turns infuriatingly chauvinistic and irresistibly attractive, Michael demands something from Monica that she doesn't know if she can give - if she even wants to give it. In her books, there's always a happy ending. In real life, it's never that easy.
