This is a great book that will change the way you think about potatoes forever. It proves that they are a relatively low energy food, much less fattening than pasta, and that different varieties have different tastes and uses. Recommended.

Lydie's cookbooks are ALWAYS perfectly done -- every recipe is a gem. I've been to her cooking school in NYC, and can attest to this woman's incredible knowledge, skill, and ability to teach. Fabulous. Check out her other cookbooks, too...

interesting ideas, not so easy to read,

I just received this book and while I have not had time to experiment the the recipes, I have to say that I find it a bit difficult to read through. Don't get me wrong, the author is very engaging and I am looking forward to trying out the recipes, it is just that the font for the recipe titles is not quite browsing-friendly.
