Sacrifice in the Name of the Vatican, October 10, 2008
Along with the video `El Sacerdote', these films give a good contrast about the conflicts priests' experience that is contrary to Vatican policy.
*In both cases, their carnal desires were similar but how they came to a resolution was radically different. In the ending of `El Sacerdote', the priest made an observation to Jesus on the Cross about the cause of his pain, which astounded me.
*Their convictions about the Christian message were also different. One was a liberal who preached the message of giving to the poor in an affluent congregation and wrote articles in a newspaper that conflicted with Vatican policy. The other was a conservative who resisted change in Vatican policy.
*These films present the lives of Catholic priests in a sympathetic manner. In light of the pedophile cases within the Catholic Church, I highly recommend both of these films so the viewer can understand the personal turmoil priests face within their own circle and the general public.
*By the way, some have tagged this movie as gay, child abuse, coming of age by boys, and male nudity, which is absurded. The movie was mainly about religion and had a few nude adult female scenes and several heterosexual copulation between adults.

Horrible!, February 2, 2006
This movie is NOT Passion of the Christ! It is a bogus cheap rip off title to trick you into thinking it has something to do with the real film. It's a dull story about a monk who fancies a woman and then kills himself, or her I can't remember now. Bad acting, boring story, low budget. This movie sucks.
