An utterly intoxicating lush, romantic film score that lingers in memory long after you listen to it. Harry Gregson Williams has outdone himself with this beauty! The songs by Misia are a treat for sure, as is a rendition of Felicidade, by Suba and Shebelle. Buy it, you'll play it over and over again. My favorite score of the year.

I enjoyed the movie very much and music resonated in my mind, I wanted to get a copy of the sound track, perhaps its been a while since I saw the movie but was fairly disappointed at the soundtrack, which lacked a lot of the soulful and passionate influence depicted in the movie, the vocals where lost, not there at all ... dont get me wrong, the music was still good but conflicted with my expectation of what I enjoyed in the movie itself.... perhaps its because it was more instrumental sounds versus vocals.. I dont know, but I have not played it since I bought it ...sorry!

I watched this movie when recovering from surgery over two weeks. Fell in love with my introduction to Fado, so I purchased the CD the same day. It had a lot of instrumentals and only 3-4 Fado singers, and that is why I rated it 3-star. However, it does feature the musical pieces from the movie, so if you enjoyed the music from Passionada, this will not disappoint. I purchased CDs of legendary Fado singers separately.

This score is absolutely fabulous, I can't take Misia's voice out of my head, the whole score is so tender and relaxing that you'll play it over and over.
