Having grown up listening to the 'DELLS' and the edited version of "Stay in my corner"on the AM stations, I was flabbacasted when I heard this CD I had no idea that the group and there lead singer were so talented, This man can sing,am not ashamed to admit he gave me goose bumps, even the 12" version of the jump song "All about the paper is right on the mark. If you want to hear what soul singing is all about by all means buy this CD and be prepared to be taken into a soulful atmosphere. Be taken back by this version of 'Stay in my corner"By all get this CD...5+ STARS

The Dells, one of the best examples of a group ever to undergo a major stylistic change without ruining themselves, The Dells started out as a top-notch 60s doo-wop group, and with the changing trends of the 70s and beyond, reinvented themselves into serious company for The Blue Notes, Chi-Lites, Spinners, etc. The title song for this particular compilation is simply one of the most beautiful, sensual love jams ever made.
