Having grown up listening to the 'DELLS' and the edited version of "Stay in my corner"on the AM stations, I was flabbacasted when I heard this CD I had no idea that the group and there lead singer were so talented, This man can sing,am not ashamed to admit he gave me goose bumps,even the 12" version of the jump song "All about the paper is right on the mark. If you want to hear what soul singing is all about by all means buy this CD and be prepared to be taken into a soulful atmosphere. Be taken back by this version of 'Stay in my corner"By all get this CD...5+ STARS

The Dells, one of the best examples of a group ever to undergo a major stylistic change without ruining themselves, The Dells started out as a top-notch 60s doo-wop group, and with the changing trends of the 70s and beyond, reinvented themselves into serious company for The Blue Notes, Chi-Lites, Spinners, etc. The title song for this particular compilation is simply one of the most beautiful, sensual love jams ever made.

Passionate Breezes Best of 75-91 is a journey back to a time when songs made you aware of the stories they told and that the loves lost hearts broken could if wanning not headed become you. I Purchased it for the title tune which i couldn't fine any other compulation that i reviewed. The Dells have been a favorite of mine since i heared the song stay in my conner. The Dells sing the type of music that take you on a magic carpet to a land when love was the only way and without it you were lost.
