An excellent book. Loaded with rich history of the horse industry, Kentucky, and the passionate, vibrant life of Pansy Yount. Truly a page turner. Learn the bloodlines of the original and most beautiful horses in the Saddlebred world. Learn how a woman conquered obstacles and grabbed the Kentucky bluebloods by the horns. You won't be sorry for buying this one.

It is a great book that you won't be able to put down once you start reading it. (Normally I take weeks to read a book but read this in l day. Tell's ALL the "Prejudices" suffered and the "Passion" this couple had for life.
Very interesting for those who love the "real thing", history, and Lexington.

Anything KY gets my attention and this one did not disappoint. I have read it 2 times and have purchased the book as gifts. This is the story behind one of the largest oil fields in TX and the wildcatters who discovered it. The book details their story from rags to incredible wealth. Fascinating story.
