There's nothing quite like listening to the BBC on a world band (shortwave) radio. But where does the newcomer begin? Right here! Then, once you get your new radio home, it points you to all the right spots on the shortwave dial to hear news from across the Atlantic, financial figures from the Pacific Rim, sports-talk radio from New Zealand and even good ol' Communist propaganda from places like North Korea and Havana, Cuba.
