I opened the book slowly making it as if I was opening a Christmas present. I DID go straight back to the PassPorter pockets. I LOVE THEM!!!! I cant wait to use them, they are wonderful!!! I read this book from cover to cover. (hi-lighter in hand, and skipping lunch as not to get mayonaise on my new PassPorter book) I have to say that this the BEST book by far that I have seen. there's info on the resorts. restaurants, and even things that most people don't even think of doing (ie me) unless its pointed out to them I couldn't believe how much information was in this book!!!! It has maps for ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. Charts on the resorts, food and attractions siting best and worst, prices (for the restaurants), what each "age group" each park would get a kick out of more. (ie couple, singles, family, the young, and last but not least, the young at heart)There are sections for planning, trip notes, budgeting, even an area to get some character autographs I would TOTALLY reccomend this book!!!! It's value is off the charts!!

I honestly can't figure out how anyone goes to Walt Disney World without this guide. On our last trip, the PassPorter made it *so* easy for me to stay organized, with every coupon, confirmation slip, and trip detail in its own special place. On top of all that, the guidebook portion of the book is, in my opinion, among the best. No other WDW guidebook has better resort maps or descriptions.

The 2000 edition has topped itself. Better maps, better reviews, more pockets. The best gets even better!

The book was short, to the point. Nice maps. Rides were rated. Hotel info. and maps were good. Restuarants were rated. Pockets were helpful to keep track of things. This is not an exhaustive book of all Disney World info. but works nicely in conjuction with books like the Unofficial Guide or Birnbaum's.

I recievd this book about three days ago. I must say that it is vastly improved when compared to the 1999 passporter. They have organized the restaraunt guides by the parks that they are at. They have ratings for the park attractions based on the author's opinions as well as the opinions of the park goers. The also have excellent overviews of Disney resorts along with resort area maps. The front and rear book covers have fold out maps, in color, as well as phone numbers to use while your at the parks. It also has information on the often overlooked behind the scenes tours offered at disney. Finally, this book has many more places to write your trip itinerary as well as pockets to keep important things, like plane tickets and park passes. While you are at the parks you can use these pockets to keep receipts and maps from the parks. If you are going to Disney this book is a must have.

This book has all you need to plan and execute your vacation. PLUS its a handy way to keep all of your information organized and in one place. Although it keeps to the Disney line (EVERYTHING is great here) it gives you great tips and reviews on everything from the big attractions and how to avoid lines to hidden attractions that may be missed on a hectic schedule. It has been a good way to keep sane during our planning and vacation. However, it does not contain info on off-site lodging and activities, so it will not give you insights into the more economical places to stay or eat. But with the great maps, reviews, tips, and those wonderful passpockets, a little extra research on the web is worth it.

This is the most comprehensive and easy-to-read guidebook for Walt Disney World that I have ever seen.

It is the very best source for on-site hotel information and includes maps of WDW resorts, room layouts, amenities, WDW transportation system times to theme parks, and more.

Outstanding summaries of all major and minor attractions throughout Disney World include information on the waterparks, Downtown Disney, and Disney Quest.

Whether you're a first-time Disney visitor or a seasoned Mouseketeer, you'll find this informative and visually pleasing guide to be invaluable. An added bonus for scrapbookers are the memory pockets that provide a handy place for journaling and keeping momentos from your trip.

After reading any number of books about Walt Disney World, including the Official and Unofficial Guides, this one is proving to be the most invaluable. It has the BEST information on all of the Disney hotel properties, even maps to help you decide if there's a certain building you'd like to be in. It's not as biased as the Official Guide, yet not nearly as negative as the Unofficial Guide. Not being Disney affiliated allows the authors to be unbiased and truthful about their experiences, and they are! The PassPockets are fun and convenient; they really help to keep you organized during the pre-trip planning and the trip. It's also a great souvenier once the trip is over; keep it with your photo album to look at your thoughts & comments in years to come. Corresponding website allows you to update your PassPorter with new/revised information and has additional tips & hints for your trip. Like the old commercial said...don't leave home without it!

The Passporter 2000 for Disney World is a wonderful resource. I bought a copy for my second ever trip to WDW in November of 2000 and found it very useful for organizing and planning all the details of the trip.

It has detailed maps not only of the theme parks, but of the WDW resorts, which really helps when trying to choose where you want to stay and plan your itinerary. And the pockets in the back help you keep all those bits and pieces in one place while you are planning.

The only drawback is that it is a bit cumbersome to carry around the parks with you. Once I had pinned down exactly what information I need from the Passporter, I found it easier to simply copy it, remember it, or remove and carry the pages with me.

Very good reviews and information on hotels and places to eat. Overall, I found the book both 100% enjoyable and useful. This is a great vacation aid. I recommend it to everyone I find going to the World. Can't wait for the encore.

...I'm still hooked! First, it's a guidebook with reviews, ratings and complete resort information, even on saving money, and boy, have we! Then, it doubles as a planner and organizer for formulating your plans and revising them until they are just right, then it triples as a memento of your trip. Anyone can plan a trip to WDW, but to plan a Magical trip requires a PassPorter. There is so much information from websites to newsgroups from maps to reviews that you will gravitate towards the best experiences and attractions for you and your family. Have a specific question? Then I hop on over to their website where the authors have made themselves accessible and a community of people share information, tips and stories, which really gives your book life, and makes sure it is perpetually up-to-date. Something few guidebooks can claim. I have just about every guidebook on WDW, and this is the most unique, most helpful and most magical.
