I first "met" Judy Hall through her Crystal Bible (another amazing book) and have enjoyed her writing style ever since. Her obvious passion for Past Life work and Astrology, in general, just glows from this book. She completely understands this subject and presents it in an easy to grasp manner, as she always does. I found myself nodding my head in agreement and having "aha" moments in every chapter. If you have ANY interest in Past Life Astrology, this book will get you started and keep you thinking! I only wish she lived in the US so I could go stufy with her...her knowledge on so many subjects is just mind-boggling!

Once again, if you have any interest in delving into Past Life Astrology, do not pass this book by, it will give you lots of fabulous information that you will not pick up in other books.

I'm the kind of person who looks online for the book with a large number of reviews and four and a half stars, but, in this case, I happened to skim through this book at a bookstore and decided to buy it. Long story short, Past Life Astrology deserves 175 reviews with a four and a half star rating. This book helps you piece together past life and current issues/occurrences/karma based on your astrological birth chart and, for me, it seemed entirely accurate. Every selection matched my life perfectly and the explanations are very interesting. Absolutely worth the time and money. I even enjoy going back and reading my sections over again.

The pros:
The book is visually beautiful. It has nice, heavy paper. The illustrations are colorful and pretty. It's put together in a really visually pleasing way. The language is easy to understand.

The cons:
I am not sure who this book is written for. When I first started reading it, I thought it was easy, simplistic and could follow along well. As I went along, it got more and more confusing- partially because she doesn't give complete information, partially because she starts talking with terms that are over my head. She doesn't draw a straight line from A to B. Sometimes she flies and the reader is not on the plane with her. The worst part about it though is that it all seems to hypothetical and focused on entertainment rather than anything concrete. The things that are in my chart that are supposed to be part of my karmic work are not related to me at all. I am not talking about just one thing that can be dismissed, but most things. So, it doesn't seem to be accurate. If it were hard to understand but accurate, I'd take the time to figure the rest out. Instead I think I have a pretty book that will sit on my shelf.

When planning a one-day workshop on Karmic Astrology I did some searching for a book that would serve as a link for relative beginners as well as provide thought-provoking material for seasoned students. I was VERY pleased with this! I'd seen Hall's work with her book "The Karmic Journey: The Birthchart, Karma, and Reincarnation" and this proved to be exactly what I was looking for for my class.

Judy speaks minimal "astrologese" <smile>, managing to make astrological points in plain English. And while there are "cook book" elements to this book, she does do a good job of encouraging the reader to use synthesis to think through the energies at work in the chart.

A great read and a fabulous reference.

This is a wonderful book. Richly illustrated, beautifully written with a warm, engaging, and informative style. The novice will easily be able to understand this book and the experienced will find it an excellant reference. If I were to recommend only one book on this subject- this would be it.

I own several astrology books. I can't think of one I refer to more often than this particular volume. If you care about what motivates people, what cripples people, what people are here to work through, then I highly recommend adding this to your library. I use it over and over and over again.

I found the book to be very helpful in explaining possible deep rooted issues. I also found the layout and use of graphics to be an added bonus in making the book more "reader friendly." The content is fairly light and certainly not exhaustive, but overall I thought it was a good book.

Fantastic - Judy Hall is always worth her weight in gold but this time she has out done herself - the whole family LOVED IT - and yes its RIGHT easy to read - spot on...

This book--and Miss Judy--peaked my interest in karmic astrology. It has a new name and cover, but it still holds the same fascinating information about astrology and past lives.
