This book should become a classical text for Regression Therapists! It has helped me tremendously, explaining in clear, easy-to-follow language exactly how to conduct a session, and what it takes to be a good therapist. Mary LaBay includes Scripts, techniques, actual case studies and a plethora of useful information. This is truly one of THE best investments you can make if you'd like to include regression therapy in your work. I have been using it a while now and with complete success.

As a hypnotherapist interested in working more with regression therapy, this book was recommended to me, and it is a classic in my personal library now. I refer to it over & over. This is not simply for the curious... this text is for the serious therapist who wants to become exceptional. 5 stars!

What a pleasure to find a book that covers all areas of concern with regard to Past Life Regression Work.No mumbo jumbo here, just an easy to follow overview and advice on the Topic.
I really get sick of books that waffle on....if you want to know about Past Life Work, this is it.5 out of 5 Mary Lee.
Coming from a critical Aussie thats not bad at all. I look forward to the next book.

Mary Lee LaBay provides past life regression techniques helpful for both the novice and expert to understand and eliminate the stresses and hardships experienced in everyday life. The book is loaded with riveting examples. It also contains past life regression scripts anyone can use.

Mary Lee tackles the tough issues like false memories, belief systems and reality vs metaphor. She also discusses fascinating concepts like life between lives, and souls that can step in to lives already in progress.

Simply "head and shoulders" above other books in this field. An easy read too.

This book succinctly covers a broad and fascinating array of topics with a clarity and depth of description that makes it easy and delightful to read.

More importantly, this book details how a person can utilize this knowledge to help their clients--whether or not the practitioner or client believe in past lives.

It is definitely worth investing in a person is sceptical because it can open doors to a unique and demonstrated healing method.

If you are already a person who is open to Past Life therapy, this book is a must add to your collection.

I'm not a past life regression practitioner but I'm trying to access past life memories by working with a hypnotist and doing my own meditation.

Even so this book was fascinating for me.

It goes far beyond just the mechanics of hypnotizing someone although that is covered for the professionals who regress others for a living.

It looks at past life memories and the time between lives from a broad perspective as far as how they relate to each other and to this current life.

The author seems to have certain psychic abilities and be able to travel in other dimensions such as the 'astral' plane of existance.

There are many strange topics in this book which will be almost revolutionary to people who have strict beliefs. These are too numerous to list in this review but suffice it to say these might fall under the category of 'new age' ideas for some people.

This is a great book. It keeps coming out with amazing ideas right on through to the epilogue which offers a wonderful message of hope.

I recently purchased this book. This regressionist is local to me in Washington State, and she used to be on the AM radio quite frequently at KKNW AM1150 in Bellevue, WA.

In fact, I "won" a group regression session by calling the station at the appropiate time. I attended the session and was able to quite clearly visualize a former incarnation in Russia that seems to always surface in group sessions such as this one, probably because it might be quite relevant to my current situation this lifetime.

She has quite a local following and it seems she has been featured at national and international symposiums on reincarnation related topics. Actually, I have only casually read parts of the book, but I can attest to her abilty as a practitioner.

I have been reading Past Life Regression: A Guide for Practitioners, and find the book to be in wonderful alignment with what I have learned from Milton Erickson's methods. From a clinical psychology research perspective, it is so helpful for clients to work in the metaphors, such as are demonstrated in this book, allowing them to best process their emotions in a client-centered, non-leading fashion. This book gives clear and detailed guidance and suggestions on how to do this utilizing past lives. After reading the book I contacted Dr. LaBay, and she was most helpful in supporting my pursuit of incorporating past lives into my professional practice. As a practicing past life regressionist, I consider this one of the better books I've read on this subject. It is an easy read but also filled with good information. It enabled me to enrich my sessions by incorporating some of the techniques presented in the book.

Mary Lee Labay has made a wonderful contribution to the field of regression therapy and past life therapy in this book. I do not recall reading anyone that conveyed such loving wisdom from her own regression and astral plane experience and the extremely sensitive insights gained from working with clients. She describes with real clarity many of the critical aspects of the regression journey

Her description of "walk in" or "step ins" as she calls them is particularly excellent and a great opener into one of the ways that personalities of souls will set up their lives to fulfill their own predelictions and desires for specific expressions and learning.

Mary Lee explains with clarity how perceptions create our experience. She conveys understanding of this dynamic that is critical for both the therapist and the client. Moreover she offers descriptions of the Interlife periods that can be very helpful for the practitioners and non practitioners alike who are first venturing into this realm. In doing so she dispels many misconceptions about the after death experiences. As to this arena, she gives warm and personable descriptions of her own learning and healings that convince the reader as to her compassionate capacities as a therapist and teacher.

I highly recommend this book for students and practitioners of Past Life Therapy and for those just starting on their pathway in growth through this modality.

I was very pleased with with this book. It gave me more information on past life regressions than I had received in previous books on the subject. It is clear that the author is very experienced in her work and she details many actual regressions. I also appreciated the past life regression script that was included in the book. It's a great read for the beginning practitioner or anyone wanting to gain a greater depth of understanding on past life regression. After reading the book, I now am ready to take a course in hypnotherapy and start practicing!
