5.0 out of 5 stars Pasta Pleasures Prevail!!!!, November 5, 2001
By A Customer
Pasta and Rice Italian Style is the star among the literary works produced by the prolific Calingaert family. Bolder than Michael Calingaert ever dared in his now classic The 1992 Challenge from Europe (now available in paperback), all of the dishes detailed by Efrem jump off the pages and provide mouth-watering rewards to the lucky chef who prepares them. The step-by-step directions are clear and simple, even easier than those outlined by Peter Calingaert in his seminal work Assemblers, Compilers, and Program Translation. As Daniel Calingaert alluded to in his first work, Soviet Nuclear Power Under Gorbachev, it's not just Russians, but people throughout the United States as well, who can appreciate the quick to prepare dishes and the easy to find ingredients that make up the recipes found in Pasta and Rice Italian Style.
