This felt like something I might hear walking through a Ren Fest during the holiday season.

It is quite lovely. The main melody is done with a flute or similar wind instrument with various other surrounding instruments from time to time.

If you don't have any Manheim Steamroller this is a good introduction. I own all of their Christmas CD's. I love them all. It is definitely nice to hear traditional songs done in a non-traditional way. Can't go wrong getting this for FREE!!!!

Can't believe I've not heard any of MANHEIM STEAMROLLER holiday music before - WOW!

Because of the FREE download opportunity, will be getting more of their music for sure. This is very relaxing, soothing, and if you like Yule music / "new age" type, this is something I think you will most likely enjoy. Many years ago, when I was more into punk rock (college days...sigh!), I had heard some of their music, but not since then. What a lot of wasted years of wonderful music...but at least I can catch up and get what I like.

If you like Celtic music, Loreena McKennitt, Clannad, Enya, I think this will be similar. ALSO, has the feel of CELTIC CHRISTMAS cd's, which I am addicted to and could not have a Solstice/Holiday season without listening.
