I enjoyed the book, as did a colleague I loaned it to. It's Pat's philosphical statement using his career in pop music as a vehicle. There is some historical perspective and interesting stories along the way. Pat Boone is a genuinely good guy. Someone who stuck to his values despite the opposition. We need more like him, especially in the entertainment world. Lots of pictures illustrate the narrative. A good read.

Being a big Pat Boone fan for many years, I was looking forward to this 50 year retrospective.
Although it was entertaining and had a lot of nostalgic pictures, I would have been happier had he talked more about his entertainment career with less espousing of his political views which are well known on the internet.
Still I was pleased with most of it but recommend it to die hard Boone fans only.

This is a quality book with some great photographs from Pat Boone's career. There is a tendancy to get a little "preachy"
but Pat Boone's religeous convictions are admirable. There are some business lesson's to be learnt from Pat's
experience in the commercial world and his dedication to family values is without peer.
Pat alway's has time for everyman and his sincerity and dedication to his fellow man no matter what creed shines through.
Just wish that 20th Century Fox would release his Movies like April Love/Bernadine/State Fair for all us fans.
I believe that these movies have appeared on Turner Classic Movies but not released on DVD.
Till then we have this great book.
Enjoy the journey!! it's worth the admission price.

Great book. Nice to know about his background. Fast read. Recommend especially for the folks that grew up in the 50s and early 60s.

If you like Pat Boone and who doesn't, then this book is for you.
