I watched this movie purely because I'm a huuuuge David Boreanaz fan. Unfortunately, while his TV shows tend to be great, he tends to put himself in the worst movies (Valentine, I'm With Lucy, Crow 4). This movie was trite, boring, poorly written, poorly directed and even the actors seemed lost sometimes. The only reason to recommend this movie is that David Boreanaz is unbelievably hot in it, and I'm referring specifically to the dancing scene. I would not recommend this movie to anyone who's not a diehard DB fan and even then, it's only good for a DB fix after you've seen every episode of Buffy, Angel and Bones multiple times. Again...bad movie...very annoyingly bad movie..DB..sexier than ever.

I rented this mainly because I am a David Boreanaz fan. The film is a long lost cousin of "Hitch" and is rather contrived. But romantic comedies are contrived - nothing new here. I enjoyed watching David Boreanaz smile - his other roles are always so serious - I very rarely seen him smile. Besides - he is easy on the eyes. Not all movies are a home run - I realize that. Anyhow, this film had some redeeming moments. This film is a very high-end Lifetime movie. As another reviewer stated - watch this movie only if you are a David B. fan. The female lead, Alana De La Garza, is the new lawyer on "Law and Order" and played the girlfriend of Horatio on "CSI - Miami"

If you hate romantic comedies and consider most of it pure drivel, then don't watch this one. If, however, you need an occasional quick fix for the romantic and comedic verging on silly, then this is the movie for you.

David Boreanaz, who plays Booth on BONES, is the lead. He dates women who have just broken up with their boyfriends. Their boyfriends hire him to make them look like the dream come true in comparison. He at first seems perfect on these dates and then turns into a total nightmare. The women then go rushing back to their boyfriends. This is his business and it is called Mr. Fix It.

Alana De La Garza is the female lead, the woman who threatens to undo his whole Mr. Fix It gig. She played the female attorney on "Law&Order" in its final years. David Boreanaz is very good at comedy which he has used to good advantage in BONES. I'd like to see him paired up with his Dean Martin as he can be a very good Jerry Lewis at times. With the right comedic partner in the movies, he could hit a winning combination, as he has done on tv. This film is a bit too sappy and sentimental to be a perfect comedic vehicle for him but it is very entertaining for the rom-com fan.

Well played, this movie is very refreshing as it doesn't take itself too seriously. If you want to have a good time, smile and laugh, then it's a good choice.

this is a great movie my husband and i are big david b fans since buffy and this movie is really great not the same kid of story but a great romantic comedy

The movie was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it from beginning to end. I'm a David Boreanaz fan and his acting in this movie is a far cry from his serious roles in 'Angel' and 'Bones'. He was just so comical in it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this oddball comedy. As expected, David Boreanaz captivated me and set the light tone for this. It reminded me of Amelie with a dash of Scrubs - only with more engaging characters. I also loved Alana Garza, the movie's visual jokes and its entire good natured quality. Except for one scene where the too precocious kids failed to convey the message that the adults were childlike, the movie was perfect.

Everyone who is in love, hopes to be, or is on a date should see this.

Horray for David... I loved this movie basically because he thought he was getting her when she was actually getting him. What a surprize ending, and i did cry bewcause the way they did him. But all is fair... I really recommend this.

I watched this movie only because David Boreanaz was in it. I've loved him since Buffy & eventually Angel.

He's not known for his acting skills beyond a TV series and at times during this movie; I can see why.

I almost turned it off but figured, it wasn't a long one and it was kind of a knockoff of "Hitch" but with a twist.

In the end, I must say I would buy this movie.

The scene where he takes her on their dream day and makes her fall for him.. I felt *I* was falling for him (Bad I know).

but in end, the story is about love and being able to open up enough to find love.

As long as you're not expecting an Oscar performance, you'll be fine.

This movie really took me by surprise. I don't know how I missed it in the theaters I must have been in a coma, but I finally realized after seing it what was missing in my life. I don't want to write a spoiler but this silly little film is much deaper than it's fun exterior and might surprise you. I can only compare the film style to that of a modern day Frank Capra film, not a remake, but a truly original and wonderful story about the human condition and the state of being that at least half of all gen x men are living in. See the film. Sieze the day
