Editorial Review
In Bible TriBond, players test their knowledge of the Bible--and their ability to think quickly--by finding the common link between three different items from the New International Version of the Bible. For example, the answer to the clue "Seth, Cain, Abel" would be "sons of Adam and Eve." Players roll the die and, with each correct answer, move their game pieces along the board. A player might encounter a command to "Love your neighbor as yourself," automatically forfeiting his or her rolled spaces to the player on the left. "Humble yourself," means you must move your piece backwards. While there are some nonbiblical clues included for those with limited Bible knowledge, the game will mainly appeal to those who consider the Bible an essential, inspirational part of life.

This game challenges the Bible lover and learner to make connections between verses throughout the Bible, as well as testing knowledge of Bible trivia. Players must find the link, or bond, between three key phrases. Bible TriBond helps develop a sense of abstract relationships and makes players think critically about the three words or phrases. The answer also informs players where these references can be found in the Bible. Ultimately, this game causes players to think abstractly in order to find the link in the analogies. Of course there are places where a player might be asked to "Love your neighbor as yourself," thereby giving up a turn, or a player may be asked to "Humble yourself," in which case they would take a few steps back. Bible TriBond also reinforces biblical lessons and behavior.
