Book Description

After Carrie Sinclair catches her husband being unfaithful, the urge to go off and lick her wounds is just too great, and she flies halfway around the world to hole up in the remote Fiji islands. But what was supposed to be two weeks of solace quickly turns into unending isolation when on the way back from one of the outer islands, she falls overboard and is left behind. Caught in a current and pulled farther out to sea, Carrie fights to stay alive in the unrelenting ocean. Exhausted and nearly done in, she finally makes it to a small uninhabited island but soon realizes there is no escape, from the island, or the anguish of her broken marriage.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Patch of Blue July 21, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
After Carrie finds her husband cheating on her, she waits until their two teenage boys are away for the summer, then meets a travel agent hoping to immediately go on a cruise. When that isn't available, Carrie finds her way to Fiji for a 2 week get-a-way. A little boat trip changes her life forever when she falls off the boat and finally makes her way to a deserted island. Although I find the rest of this story very farfetched, I'd still enjoyed reading it!
