I liked this book . I had found the first and third in the series at a used book store and once I started the first book I knew I had to have the second as well. I don't receommend this book alone - read it in proper sequence with the others. It's accurate and gives a lot of Bruce's military strategy, the Scots love for independence, the history, the 'cleaned-up' version of living in that time. Good read!
