The Pathway of Loneliness By Elisabeth Elliot,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Path of Loneliness: It May Seem a Wilderness, but It Can Lead You to God (Paperback)
Speaking honestly from a sensitive as well as sympathetic heart, Elisabeth Elliot candidly offers her reader a Light at the end of their tunnel. She touches on every circumstance in life that brings us to loneliness and then points us directly to the One who can ultimately and completely fill that void. I love especially the way she brings in her own struggles and experiences. This book reads quickly and is suitable for anyone who may struggle with loneliness. It gave me hope and a renewed confirmation in God's presence and how He works everything, even the bad things, in life for good.

Excellent for Divorce Recovery,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Path of Loneliness: It May Seem a Wilderness, but It Can Lead You to God (Paperback)
Loneliness can be devastating until you realize how to use it to your advantage. This book will help keep divorcees from "rebounding" and jumping into another bad relationship. Be aware that it is written from a Christian perspective; I've given it to a lot of friends who are going through a divorce.

My Husband recently passed on to Heaven, and our two children who are of the ages of 23 and 24 were having a difficult time of it. We were an extremely close family. His passing affected them differently yet similar when it came to the subject of loneliness. We have studied The Word of God for years with the kids, and Our Lord helped all of us get through the changes we didn't realize we would be experiencing, this book was brought to my attention and as I read it, I realized "I know what this lady is feeling" so, I ordered the kids two of Elisabeth Elliots "The Path of Loneliness, and they actually read it. Im glad they made time to read it , for it helped them both to further the healing process as well as the book adressed other issues as well. I recommend it.
