Well, I was one of them upset/frustrated with the long delay on getting this through Amazon, but once they finally sorted it out and I got my copy last week, I'm still really happy I purchased it.

Pro's
- Very thick and durable-feeling cardstock was used, and I appreciate the extra effort. My group isn't extremely careful with the mini's, so I'm relieved to report that the thick cardboard used here seems like it'll take some beating.
- Excellent print quality, if you like the art of the books, you will be happy to know the high quality printing carries over to these.
- Bases come in several sizes, and are easy to attach and detach from the cardboard mini's. I don't push mine all the way down, I gentle push is enough grip to keep the mini standing even for long battles. The various sizes help for giving scale to your players.
- The box it came in is sturdy and will provide a good holding container for all your mini's when not being used. It also has a good print job on it, if that matters to you.
- PRICE! I have printed my own paper mini's in the past on cheap cardstock, but no where near the quality used here, and the time spent on then cutting them out and gluing them to washers (what we use as bases, nice and cheap!) was exausting, and I had no where near the selection I now have. I had wanted to pick up actual metal or plastic mini's for the NPC's, but it would have cost me hundreds of dollars to get even a decent selection. For the amount of mini's I got in this kit, and for the awesome print job, and for making it easy for me to use, this is an absolute STEAL.

Con's
- No default organization option. As I mentioned before, the box is sturdy, but organization is up to you.

Minis are expensive. It's just a sad fact of life, tin prices are up, plastic prices are mitigated by other companies selling random booster packs, and using your imagination makes tactical combat a little bit difficult. Reaper's Bones Kickstarter will probably alleviate a large chunk of these problems, but... it's going to take awhile.

In the meantime, this exists. It's cheap to produce, but still of great quality - hard cardstock, quality colorful art, and solid plastic bases. More importantly: it's expandable. They're going to be doing packs based on existing Adventure Paths (Skull and Shackles for the win!), and they'll use the same bases as the Bestiary Box, so future sets will be cheaper.

The size is right (obviously, they are made to scale for Pathfinder), and there's a marker for every creature in the Bestiary Volume 1 (and multiple markers for smaller creatures traditionally found in groups). I'm excited to use this in the game I'm running now (there are a few creatures that appear in Skull and Shackles, and enough analogues in the meantime for those that don't appear here), and I have a feeling my players will appreciate it as well.

This box is something any GM can use to great lenght, even if miniatures are not a must for your gaming group. Even if you are a player, you will be providing a great service to the group if you buy this and it is used to enhance the gaming sessions.

The box pretty much is as described here. The box is sturdy and nice. There is a HUGE collection of monsters here, from different sizes. They are printed in color in sturdy cardboard. Some monsters like kobolds and skeletons are repeated several times so you can use them as enemy group.

The box also provides a good number of standing pieces for the monsters, varying in all sizes, which respond to the usual sizes of Pathfinder/D&D minis.

This is a great addition to any gaming experience, we have been using lego figures as heroes and with this box we can account for most monsters.

Paizo is making a great job and providing great tools for gaming groups.

Came brand new, everything in there!

This the box to get if you and your players want to see some pawns on your game mats. Their durable cardboard holds up well but I wouldn't suggest being mean to them. The box comes with plenty of bases. If you want some 3-D action on your mat, get this.

Excellent and way cheaper than plastic minis this is the way to go!!!! The pawns are cardboard and not flimsy and the bases correspond to the size of the creature (minus Colossal size).
CONS:
Not enough minis for small creatures (ex. there's ONE wight....2 goblins etc)

I am hoping Paizo introduces add-ons to increase the pawns for multiple creature fights.

When you have a small party you can use the power of imagination to determine where people are standing and who's attacking what. But when you have a slightly larger party (Started with 6 players in my campaign) having these little cardboard cutouts and letting the players use dice (d4s are good) or getting their own figurines really helps with placement and who's attacking what. My only complaint is that there aren't more stands in the box. I also have trouble finding more stands to buy, but admittedly I haven't really looked hard.

Overall I am happy with my purchase and would do it again if necessary.
