Awesomeness and HIGHLY recommended!!, May 11, 2011
This review is from: Pathological (A Digital Short) (Kindle Edition)
Okay. For those of you who don't know yet, Vincent Zandri is my all time FAVORITE author of suspense/crime/mystery/thrillers. He rocks. His style is beyond any other and each and everything I've read so far has been nothing but 4 and 5 star work. I'm always instantly pulled in and kept there until the end. That's awesome, in my opinion. So, what's it like when he writes a digital short?
Well, let me tell you. It's like his novels. The shorts instantly capture the reader, and are perfect for the "in-between" read, when you can't quite figure out what to read next. He blends his trademark suspense with som humor, and keeps the reader turning the pages until the end of the short. That's awesomeness in my mind!
Pathological is a thrilling digital short. It really makes ya think (well, it would make me think it, if I wasn't divorced, anyhow) that "do I really know my spouse?". I had super fun reading about this man who asked his soon-to-be fiance's dad for permission to marry her....and then sat through all the emotions and suspense of what was to happen at the end of this short story about a serial killer. And, as with his other work that I have read, Vincent Zandri, saved the best of the twists and turns for last! It hits ya and you're like WOW!
So, once again, Vincent Zandri did NOT disappoint this fan. Pathological is a digital, 5 star short that I recommend to EVERYONE! Need a quick read between reads? Need something to read while waiting to see the doctor? Need something to read to pass time in the bathroom (hehehe!)? Then look no further than the one and only Vincent Zandri digital short, Pathological! I can't wait for more work by this fantastic author!

Genius!!, December 19, 2010
This review is from: Pathological (A Digital Short) (Kindle Edition)
Pathological by Vincent Zandri
Published by StoneHouse Ink
ISBN-13: 2940011815508
ISBN: 0011815507
Synopsis (borrowed from B&N): The serial killer takes on many guises. But what happens when you unknowingly take him as your most trusted and loyal husband? Pathological is proof that even though you think you know your spouse inside and out, you might not really know him at all.
My Thoughts and Opinion: This was my 2nd introduction to a "digital short" read. However, not my first introduction to this author. I have read and reviewed his previous novels, Moonlight Falls and The Remains, both being phenomenal suspense/thriller reads. And, even though it was a short story, Pathological, didn't disappoint this reader. It was true Vincent Zandri writing!! A short story that grabs you from the first few words to the last. Another page turner!! I honestly am having trouble describing what it was like to read this. When I finished reading the last word, I just sat, wondering if I even took a breath, while reading this chilling story. What I do know, is that Mr. Zandri is a genius at writing thrillers, even with short stories!! It left me with wanting to read more of his work!! Brilliant!!!
My Rating: 5

Loving the Digital Shorts, December 9, 2010
This review is from: Pathological (A Digital Short) (Kindle Edition)
I am a recent purchaser of a Kindle and most of my library is Vincent Zandri's work. I simpley can't get enough of his work. Even in the short form it's still brilliantly disturbing and yet satisfying.
Pathological is a great buy...and a steal at the price. If you are considering buying Mr. Zandri's work but don't know if you want to fully commit to a novel yet. Pathological is a great taste.
