I bought this book with high hopes based on the promotional material from the publisher. But this text seems geared more for the medical student or resident learning hematopathology. The text is very concise but hardly encyclopedic. The images are in color and adequate, but a practicing pathologist will get many more useful images (and "tips") from Foucar's text. This book was inexpensive, and I occasionally pull it off the shelf.....but I almost always have to pull another more "meaty" text to answer difficult questions. Sometimes, you get what you pay for...
