I used this book during my clinical rotations and as preparation for both my exits and boards. Full of good information including implications for the rehab specialist, things that you definitely need to know because let's face it, you can't know everything when you graduate.

When I bought this book, it was $87.10 and now it is $100.00. What?!!? no.

Book is an excellent reference for those in school, or even in practice. I highly recommend it, it has been very useful in learning.

Got it as a gift for my daughter, who is studying to be an AT/PT. She made positive comments about the book. It was given along with others of the same ilk.

I purchased this book for PT school and I have to say it was essential. I used this book for multiple semesters on a weekly basis. The content is fantastic. It is clear, consice, and very well organized. I'd say over my 3 years of working on my doctorate, that this book was one of the most useful that I had on my shelf. 5+ stars

Fairly good - however, very little reference as to problem solving or the appropriate follow-up care with differential diagnoses commonly seen the PT arena. I would put it in the same cateogry as an Internal Medicine reference book for MD's - not reference friendly for PT's.

The book is excellent. Very well thought out and easy to use. When I got the chance to flip through it, I found it hard to put down. Fascinating!

As far as Amazon is concerned, I am very dissapointed. I found this book, switched web pages and came back (less than 5 minutes later). The price jumped about $15 bucks. As I needed this book for school, I would have like to not get ripped off. So - the advice is - when you find the book you want. If it is a better price than the college bookstore - buy it. If you hesitate they will jack up the price on you. Not cool, Amazon!

Very thorough, covers most diseases you'd encounter in the field with specific guidelines for physical therapy protocol, treatment goals, and modifications, and contraindications, a great encyclopedia.

Pros: e-book is the way to go when you are compiling so many reference books
Cons: none ... I really like it
