5.0 out of 5 stars great review of pathology, June 12, 2002

This is a great starting point for studying for Step1 of boards. The question/answer format is good for relating academic information to what you are likely to be asked.

This also has a good clinical spin to it. A good way to relate what you've been learning the first 2 years to what's coming up.

Probably a good adjunct to Robbins as well.

1.0 out of 5 stars Many errors, March 2, 2004
By
Edward (chicago, IL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Pathology Recall (Recall Series) (Paperback)
I began using this book when I started my pathology course along with Basic Pathology by Cotran. In the first chapter alone, there were 3 obvious errors on cell injury and adaptation. The author is a resident in Orthopedics. What gives him credentials to publish a book about pathology? Just be cautious when using books not written by experts in the subject matter. I threw the book away rather than sell or give it away.

This is a great path book, especially for the shelf. It was very useful in studying for tests as well as for the wards. Definitely recommend it!
