5.0 out of 5 stars A few comments by one of the contributors., July 18, 1996

This review is from: Paths to Central American Prehistory (Hardcover)
The chapters in this book were originally written as contributions to a symposium at the 1991 International Congress of Americanists in New Orleans that was organized in honor of the distinguished German archaeologist Wolfgang Haberland. They represent some of the latest scholarship on non-Maya cultures of southern Central America. Many of the contributors are from a younger generation of scholars, with fresh insights into both old and new problems. This book is a "must have" for anyone interested in the ancient cultures of Central America.
