Good one from the Green Mountain state,

For a tiny state, Vermont has a surprising amount of very talented musicians. Add Julie Waters to the list. The gal plays the fretboard with a passion that is refreshing and unique, and that passion is well on display on Paths of Flight. It's also quite diverse. Recommended w/o reservation!

Now, of course, being the musician who created this CD, it makes perfect sense that I'd love it. I hope you love it as well.

Almost too good for driving,

I like to listen to instrumental music in my car, so I don't get distracted by singing. Julie's work is distracting in another way, though - it deserves better than to be trapped in my car during rush hour traffic. You'll be tempted to ditch everything and head for the hills, where you can listen to this great stuff in peace.

Paths of Flight is a rich collection of intricate, evocative, flowing rhythms and clean, expressive phrasing. At times sorrowful, other times scintillating, Julie plucks our heartstrings with this CD - thoughtful, dreamy, passionate - one I'll listen to many, many more times. Thank you!
