This book works as a daily devotional book with questions to look up in the bible and answer, a weekly verse to memorize and if you want to follow the diet plan for diet/exercise in the back of the book you can but this is also just a stand alone study book. Our ladies group has done 7 in the series and we find it easy enough to finish in the week, plus there is a CD of the scriptures set to music to help with memory of the verses which is helpful and an added bonus.

This is a good book but not quite as good as I expected. Perhaps the problem was that I did the study with online friends and it's just not like being there in person. However, the book had too many Bible links and not enough good solid advice along with the links, in my humble opinion.
