Swing around warmth,

With his warm piano playing Perdomo inspires the trio to a session with a strong warmth that pervades every number. Shine, Almost Like Being in Love and Sunrise are three numbers characterized by this inspired warmth, while Baby Steps blends this warmth with swing. Slap brings in high energy drumming. Piensa en Mi is a very sentimental ballad/bolero; again lots of warmth. Perdomo has his own style and sound, and it is difficult to compare him to other pianists. Hopefully we will have an opportunity to listen to a new recording soon.
