5.0 out of 5 stars Very , very good.
All of JMT's work in his instrumental series is great for quiet time, meditations in church as well as in classroom settings. I also highly recommend his album titled "Come to the Quiet". I work in religious education for youth in grades 1 through 12 and use this CD, and others from the instrumental series, quite often for reconciliation and prayer services...

2.0 out of 5 stars Excellent guitarist, mediocre composer
Though John Michael Talbot's skill in playing the guitar is clear, his talent for composition (as illustrated in this CD) totally escapes me. Much of the music is very repetitive - it seems an accompaniment crying for a melody.

He's done it again, that's for certain. This is an amazing album of nothing but great instrumental pieces that are perfect for just sitting and meditating to. Mainly guitar, but other strings acompany.

5.0 out of 5 stars Soothing, healing and peaceful, July 7, 2001
This review is from: Pathways to Wisdom (Audio CD)
Gentle and moving, Pathways to Wisdom takes you on a quiet journey of the soul. You leave this frantic world of ours and enter a time and a place where leaves gently fall on the breeze, speaking to you of the Breath of God. Sophia, "wisdom", the Holy Spirit, lifts you up, and brings you peace. Close your eyes, and let the Holy Spirit wrap you in her wings.
