I bought "The Patient Elephant" from Amazon. It is written by a zoo veterinarian. This veterinarian has worked all over the world. He is very caring. He worked with Dr. White the man that wrote James Herriott stories. Dr Taylor wrote about many types of animals. My favorite story is about the elephant that had an obstruction in its trunk. Dr Taylor is very creative in his treatments. Reading the elephant story made me want to search for more elephant books. Elephants are so caring and intelligent. They help humans when they can, even though humans tear their families apart. I recommend this book to all animal lovers . I think even non animal lovers would enjoy the book.
