The book is divided into two sections: "Hope" and "Courage." Both sections contain selections that deal with the turning points in people's lives, when they found strength, hope, and the courage to persevere in the face of adversity. Many of the stories involve adults, but a few center around children.
Ms. Gill is a certified disability analyst/fellow with the American Board of Disability Analysts, and an advocate of inspirational/motivational self-help. She writes, "Patience and persistence are qualities that are vital to the discovery of our finest, God-given gift; the resilient "Indelible Human Spirit. These innate qualities propel people and enable them to do great things and overcome significant hurdles. For this, it is difficult to imagine any situation that does not require patience and persistence. Between the two exists a delicate balance. If you are patient, but not persistent, you may have the ability to wait for things to get better in your life, patience and persistence allows average people to accomplish great things."
Patience Persistence is both motivatinal and inspirational, offering help and hope to anyone who feels that his or her life is out of control, or that things have gotten so bad that there will never be a way to make it better. This book shows readers that there is always a way.
