About the Author
Thomas Balshi, D.D.S. is a practicing prosthodontist and the director of the Institute for Facial Esthetics. He is the author of From Soup to Nuts. He lives in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. William Becker, D.D.S. is an associate professor of periodontology at the University of Southern California school of dentistry in Los Angeles and a clinical professor of periodontology at the University of Texas at Houston. He lives in Tucson, Arizona. Edmond Bedrossian, D.D.S. is the director of the postdoctoral implant training program at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. He lives in San Francisco, California. Peter Wohrle, D.M.D. is an assistant clinical professor of advanced prosthodontics at the University of Southern California and the associate editor of the Journal of Oral Implantology. He lives in Newport Beach, California. Jack Kusler has 30 years of experience as an illustrator. He lives in Omaha, Nebraska.

I had a general idea about how dental implants work, but this book really educated me. If you're thinking about implants, this book will really help you understand what to expect. Easy to read and understand.

I have heard so much about dental implants in the past few years, with more people asking for them, and more dentists offering them. I have a crown that really should be replaced, and I wanted to get an implant. This seemed like the best book to read on the subject, based on the title, so I got a copy. It's everything the title says. Easy to understand, a quick read and a thorough explanation ... in language that I can understand. Thinking about implants? Read this book!

This book provides a very useful guide for patients contemplating dental implants. It is clearly written, printed in large typeface and gives just the right amount of information to help potential implant patients make up their minds.

However, I find the book cover a bit too thin. It keeps curling up and the 4 pages of colour photos seem like the colour separator didn't do a very good job. I would still recommend that my patients read the book for its great content.
