This 2008 sequel to the original Patio-Daddy-O excels on many levels. First, the food tastes great. Every time I've made Beer-Brined Chicken, Ribs with Righteous Bourbon Sauce, and others they've turned out great. Second, its easy to follow and fun for any level of grill mastery. Even if you've never grilled before, buy this book. You can't go wrong. Finally, its a celebration of Americana. These are dishes everyone has had or at least heard of, yet this cookbook is different. As with its predecessor, the catchy names and great illustrations make this so much fun. Just try not to laugh at and enjoy "Salsa of the Damned" ot "Jazzed-Out Blackberry-Tyme Mojitos!" You won't want to plan a barbeque without it.

Great value and a wonderful book to put with a rub or sauce. I bought it for gift giving. I always have difficulty when trying to buy a gift for the men in my family!!!
