This butter dish is sturdy!! Easy to remove the top and the base is large. Recommend highly. In fact I purchased 2 of them.

I received my butter dish today and it is pleasantly larger than I expected as well as larger than my old dish. Looks great on my counter and is of sturdy construction. Would highly recommend.

I enjoy products that you don't see in everyone's home. This butter dish is well made, a nice color, blends well with a lot of different table settings. Easy to remove top and easy to put the top back on. A well designed product.

I really liked the dish set but the butter dish lacks in utility. The cover should be able to fit security into the dish and like wise the dish should have an indentation for the butter stick. Since the handle on the cover is a knob and the cover is quite heavy you hit the sides of the butter stick when taking it on or off. The only redeeming thing about the set is it matches.

I got this butter dish for my wife who was complaining to me about our plastic butter dish that had no style. This butter keeper is clearly stylish and looks great on the table. It also fits in the butter keeper in the fridge although it is wider than standard American butter dishes. It therefore allows you to purchase European butter which is a bit wider than American butter. I don't see any negatives with this product, unless you hate blue.

I love the knob so one doesn't scrape the sides of the butter lifting the lid. It does have rather a hollow sound to it, like it could chip, but I guess I will just be careful with it. Someone complained that there was no indentation for the butter to rest into, but the dish has a lip all the way around, and if you use pound-size butter you cut up yourself, the pieces are not going to be uniform. I don't see a need for a indentation as well. It is a bit bluer than the picture, or so it seems to me. I had a hunch it would be a bit turquoise, but it is nice looking and unusual in that the pieces each have a unique design, and it is plenty roomy for a cube of butter, which I appreciate. Plus, Amazon shipped this, and they do a great job with the packaging. Many of the marketplace sellers are negligent in that area.

I also have the rest of the plate setting set to this Patio Garden collection. We received these as wedding gifts and they have been fun to use.

The dishes chip fairly easy, but the butter dish is great, has not chipped, and does fit into our refrigerator butter shelf, albeit snugly, but it does fit.
