Ideal pudding,
By
This review is from: Patisse Steam Pudding Mold, 2-Liter (Kitchen)
I had a lot of worries about making the Christmas pudding this year. A few years ago I had attempted to make the pudding and I had another mold and I failed miserably. The pudding just stuck to the mold and I was rather afraid of attempting to make it again. I have since married an Englishman who doesn't think it is Christmas unless there is pudding and of course we received a pudding mold as a wedding gift. This mold help me conquer my fear of making Christmas pudding. It created the perfect dessert. (complete with the flame) The mold is easy to clean and very simple to open and close. It does of course become very very hot when it has been steaming for several hours. Which is a great sign of it conducting the heat well and cooking the pudding. I will definitely be using this every Christmas for years to come!

I decided to undertake the traditional "English Christmas Pud" endeavor, and thanks to the Patisse Steam Pudding Mold, I did it! The mold has a lid which is VERY IMPORTANT when you steam a pudding for six hours, and the price was very reasonable. For anyone interested in making a Christmas Pud, I recommend this well made, reasonably priced product! Enjoy!

Excellent Pudding Tin,
By Antonia (Arkansas, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Patisse Steam Pudding Mold, 2-Liter (Kitchen)
This tin is perfect for creating stunning steamed puddings....I've used it for just about every kind of pudding you can think of...from Christmas Pudding to Golden Treacle Pudding to Steamed Banana Pudding. They all turn out beautifully and it's wonderful to have a tin with a lid that latches closed. The only caution I have is to make sure you grease the tin throughly...don't skimp on that step, the more the better, especially the bottom.
