Editorial Reviews

Set in a futuristic Tokyo, the mecha anime series PATLABOR: THE MOBILE POLICE follows the efforts of the Tokyo Police as they try to control the Labors, all-purpose humanoid machines built to perform physical work for the city. Power struggles ensue when the police realize that criminal elements are trying to take control of the Labors, forcing the new Special Vehicles, Section Two unit to face terrorists without the aid of their Labors while investigating potentially criminal behavior around Tokyo Bay. This volume continues the anime series with episodes 19-22.

I won't lie. I just bought this because I liked the theme song so much. Great 80s music with the bass. Gets me everytime.
