This study is incredible. Beth Moore is totally gifted at interpretation of scripture and communication of it. I learned so much through this study. I will continue to do her studies. God has truly gifted this lady.

I am on week 5 of this book. It has been accompanied by a video at church, once a week, of Beth Moore teaching. It is a "fill in the blanks" type of teaching and cannot be enjoyed fully without the video teaching. So far I have gotten a lot out of it. Her teaching takes you behind the scenes, giving you a broader picture of what was happening in the relationships between God and the Patriarchs and the relationships each of the Patriarchs had with others. In understanding these relationships, I am coming to a better and more full understanding of my personal relationship with God.

Amazon did a great job of describing the condition of the used book and getting it to me in a timely fashion. The price was very competitive as well.

I had hoped that the leader guide would include the answers that Beth Moore's team would have written (to all the questions).

This is a great study. It is rich. Beth Moore gift of teaching God's word is alive here. Don't miss this one, wiether you are a first time participant or have done many studies, make sure you include this on your list.

I have pretty much been an NT Christian, meaning, I know all the stories in the OT, but to sit down and read the OT, "wasn't happening". This course really helped me to gave a love for all of God's Word. This was a very good study and I loved it.

This is short and sweet and contains good tips as well as appropriate questions to get your group talking.

Beth Moore doesn't know what to do with the OT. She discovers a few moralisms ("life lessons") and a few spiritual principles, but she does not understand covenant or the Christ centered nature of OT revelation.
Although she is aware that some see Joseph as a symbol of Christ, she rejects the idea. She sees him as self centered, emotionally conflicted, out of control, a liar and a drunk.
Beth Moore is a great entertainer but not a good Bible teacher. I would not recommend this book.
