5.0 out of 5 stars Well built
I only use this thing to speed up my laptop and it works great. More amazingly, I managed to drop the laptop several feet with the USB drive in it. It fell directly on the USB drive. It was bent 45 degrees but it is still working perfectly. It's amazing.

1.0 out of 5 stars Failed Ready Boost
I could move any type of data on or off of this USB drive, but it wouldn't pass the Windows Ready Boost test in
any USB port. As I had other 4G USB drives for holding data, I sent this one back. My refund was really fast.

What I've found out since then is interesting. Unless you have a marginal system, barely adequate to run Vista,
you don't...

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality product, July 19, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I already own an 8GB patriot drive that has worked well for a couple years now. So, when I needed another I bypassed some slightly cheaper options to buy another patriot. I bought the 16GB drive and it works perfectly. I plugged it into my 3 year old HP laptop, recently upgraded with Windows 7, and it opened right up. I wanted the drive to transfer files to my new Jeep Compass, which has a hard drive for music and a USB connection in the Nav System interface. The Jeep recognized the drive and the files transferred without issue.

The drive has a small opening in the end to accommodate a key ring. I only wish the cap was attached to the drive, but that is a minor quibble. A quality drive, for a reasonable price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good flash drives, April 22, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I discovered these on Newegg some time ago. But, they quit selling them in favor of a newer model, which I don't like as much as these. I have all size versions (4, 8, 16, and 32 GB) of these drives and like them a lot for doing whatever. Simple, roomy, and FAST, FAST, FAST.

Got this at a great price. I use it to transfer large files between computers. Works great on Vista, XP, and Windows 7. Faster than my 16GB flash drive that's about 2 years old.

I use this drive in the USB port of my 2011 Ford Explorer. It holds 6000+ MP3 files and works great. A great deal for the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars ReadyBoost Perfect, March 6, 2011
This review is from: Patriot 32GB Razzo USB Drive with Ready Boost Ready Vista Certified - PSF32GRUSB (Personal Computers)
I bought this USB Drive predominantly to try to increase the performance of my Windows Vista Dell XPS Desktop. After years (seriously) of tweaking the OS settings, I finally decided to buy a ReadyBoost certified flash drive. I don't know why I waited so long. It has helped tremendously.... the best investment I have made for my computer in years.

I've formatted this to exFAT aka FAT64 and have been using it as a dedicated ReadyBoost drive for 64BIT Windows 7. It has been in use 24/7 for months now with no problems. I see a slight increase in load times on things such as Adobe CS5 and with booting. Not as fast as SSD, though faster than my traditional hard drive.

Using performance monitor one can monitor the use of Readyboost.

Nice, fast, High-capacity USB memory. Serves it's purpose well. Good value for the money. Recommended. I need another one. Blue light can be a little annoying at times.
