I'm sure most people will not notice it unless they are used to LOW resolution picture taking but when I tried this with my new 14MegaPixel camera it took a while to write the picture to the SD card. This was Free with the purchase of my camera but I am still returning it and going to get something that has at least 15MB/second speeds instead of this one that is rated at 4 MB/Sec.
The problem with using slow SD cards like this is when you take a picture it will show "BUSY" on your camera until it writes the picture to the SD card instead of allowing you to take another picture right away.

This review is from: Patriot Signature 4 GB SDHC Class 4 Secure Digital Card PSF4GSDHC4 (Personal Computers)
I was able to get this card for free due to a current Amazon promotion. It works rather well when I take photos on my Canon PowerShot SX20IS and the busy indicator stays for two seconds or so. The problem with this is when you try to go into burst shooting mode, you will occasionally have the process interrupted due to the card's slower speed. This definitely indicates that the card is less than ideal for fast action photographers.
Another quirk of this card is how long it takes to write low light pictures. Low light pictures may be a bit higher in file size due to the measures the camera needs to take to compensate for it. Therefore I had to wait twice as long for the photos to write and had an agonizingly long busy screen. This is certainly not good for a night or dim light photographer. In the HD video arena this card just will not cut it. Thankfully I don't really pick up on drop frames that often however I do think the card is causing some artifact and compression issues. A higher quality HD camcorder will create more demanding video files and most likely will stall with a card like this though. You are better off purchasing something that is at least Class 6 or higher to fix this. At the end of the day I do not feel this card is satisfactory enough for me to stick with it in the long run. If you are someone who rarely pulls out the digital camera to take pictures, this card will probably exceed your expectations and perform adequately. Hobbyist or professional photographers however, ultimately require a card that is a little more juiced up than this.

Haven't had a problem with it yet. I use it in my digital camera and it works. It does seem a teeny bit slower than other other memory card though when taking large pictures and also when transferring large amounts of pictures to the computer.
