Eclectic and well worthwhile,

Like the book, A Patriot's Handbook, that inspired it, this album goes from rock to folk to r&b to traditional music to look at what it means to be a Patriot in America today. From classy traditional songs such as the U.S. Marine Band to modern poets such as Paul Simon, it's a great listen.

This is a nice collection of patriotic music. It's fairly diverse and gives a very broad spectrum of styles and music so that there should be something for everyone. Because the US is a land of such diversity I embrace all of it and find that it works for me on a lot of levels. I'm very happy with it but Kate Smith's rendition of "God Bless America" really brings it home for me.
