I have a fondness for live albums, especially when I know the artist can sing, and Patti is a stellar performer. The cd has two studio cuts that are outstanding, especially the dance groove of All Right Now. Some of the outstanding live cuts are, Somebody loves you Baby with talented soulful backing vocals, and the When you've been Blessed with full gospel choir. Hero is dedicated to her sister and all those loved ones we take for granted. Patti has no problem reaching out to all people, gay, straight, black and white. Her signature song, Over the Rainbow with her impressive soaring vocals closes the set. The lady gives her all, and the audience shows its appreciation. If you have never seen Ms. Labelle live, find out what you have been missing. Highly recommended.

Maybe the only female vocalist that can give Aretha Franklin a run for her money(though one can make a great argument with Jennifer Holliday too). Actually, since Aretha hasn't protected her voice as good as Patti, I'd say Patti is a better singer than Aretha now.

This is really a great music CD, and though the live material is wonderful ("Only You Knew" is worth the CD alone) my favorite track is actual a studio cut, "All Right Now". One doesn't have to say vocally how she makes this stander uptempo song into a classic. A great CD truly from one of the Queens of Soul. I love you Patti!

When patti hits those high notes on somewhere over the rainbow my whole family enjoyed playing somewher over the rainbow and I cant fall asleep with out Patti Labelle Live

I received this item in good order. Delivery was quick and the description of the item was on point. I would definitely look into other items.

This CD is not as in depth as Patti's Live CD One Night Only, BUT it is Pure Patti (no "special guests" here, just the audience).

Patti remains a Superstar largely due to her awesome live shows, and you really never know what your gonna get until the show starts.

Patti seemlesly mixes the Philly Soul Sound (You Are My Friend, If Only You Knew, Lady Marmalade) with her equally hot newer tracks (Feels Like Another One, Somebody Loves You, and New Attitude).

She balances the set well with a great spiritual cover of Wind Beneath My Wings (dedicated to her late sister Jackie), and the ever popular Over The Rainbow (as one critic quoted, she hits notes in that song that Judy Garland did not know existed).

2 studio tracks complete the CD, the kicking, All Right Now, and the hearfelt Up There With You.

Now, all we have to do is get Patti and Donna Summer on the same stage, imagine that!
